Noah Lyles matched Usain Bolt’s record by winning his fourth consecutive 200 metres world title at the Tokyo World Championships on Friday.
The American, who also took bronze in the 100m, crossed the line in 19.52 seconds in what he describes as his “bread and butter” event.
Lyles’ victory cements his status as one of the sport’s dominant sprinters in the 200m.
