Neymar Returns from Injury but Santos Crash Out of Copa do Brasil

 Neymar made his comeback for Santos on Thursday after more than a month out with a thigh injury, but he couldn't prevent the team from being eliminated from the Copa do Brasil, losing to CRB 5-4 in a penalty shootout.
 

The 33-year-old, who recently rejoined his boyhood club after a spell at Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, has endured a string of injuries this year.

 
 When asked about extending his short-term deal with Santos, which ends in June, Neymar remained noncommittal, while the struggling club sits second from bottom in the league standings.
