LIV Golf has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after Saudi Arabia withdrew its multibillion-dollar funding.
The league owes at least $45 million to 14 current and former players among its largest unsecured creditors.
A restructuring backed by BC Partners could give players greater control while allowing them to leave their existing contracts.
