Gerard Piqué has been handed a six-match ban and a two-month suspension from official football activity by the Spanish football federation following a confrontation with a referee.
The incident occurred during a match involving FC Andorra, where Piqué, now co-owner, allegedly made threatening remarks to the official after a 1-0 defeat to Albacete Balompié.
The disciplinary ruling cited conduct that undermined sporting dignity, while other club officials also received sanctions.
