Gabriel Martinelli Joins Al-Hilal in £60m Arsenal Transfer

Gabriel Martinelli has left Arsenal to join Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal in a deal worth a guaranteed £60 million, bringing his seven-year spell in north London to an end.

The 25-year-old Brazil international has agreed to a four-year contract with Al-Hilal, who are currently level at the top of the Saudi Pro League alongside Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr.

Martinelli arrived at Arsenal from Brazilian club Ituano in 2019 and still had a year remaining on his contract. However, manager Mikel Arteta had informed the forward that he was not part of his plans for the new season.
