Former Springbok Cornal Hendricks Dies at 37 Following Heart Attack

Former South African international Cornal Hendricks has died at the age of 37 after suffering a heart attack.
 

Hendricks, who played 12 Tests for the Springboks and was a key figure in South Africa’s rugby sevens team, returned to professional rugby in 2019 after initially retiring due to a heart condition.

 
Tributes poured in from across the rugby community, remembering him not only for his talent and resilience but also for his uplifting spirit and dedication to the sport.
