​ Chris Wood Injury Scare Eases After Nottingham Forest Europa League Match

Chris Wood was forced off early during Nottingham Forest’s Europa League win over FC Porto after a heavy challenge raised concerns over a possible injury.

However, New Zealand coach Darren Bazeley has suggested the issue does not appear serious, noting that the impact was on the opposite knee from Wood’s previous surgery.

 The striker is expected to be assessed by Forest but remains a key figure for New Zealand national football team ahead of the World Cup.
