Aston Villa European Cup Winner Jimmy Rimmer Dies at 78

Jimmy Rimmer, the goalkeeper who helped Aston Villa win the 1981 First Division title and the European Cup a year later, has died at the age of 78.
Rimmer was an ever-present member of Villa's championship-winning side in 1980-81 and played a key role in their historic European Cup campaign the following season.
His European Cup success with Villa was the second of Rimmer's career. He also enjoyed spells with Arsenal and Swansea City during a career that included more than 450 senior appearances.
