​Tiger Woods Set to Change Plea in Florida DUI Case

Tiger Woods is due in a Florida court on Wednesday for a hearing to change his initial not-guilty plea in connection with a March rollover crash. Court records confirm the hearing, but the nature of his new plea has not yet been disclosed.

The 50-year-old golfer was arrested after his Land Rover overturned on Jupiter Island, Florida. Woods had previously pleaded not guilty to DUI-related charges and refusal to submit to a lawful test. He is scheduled to appear before Judge Darren Steele in Martin County for the plea conference.

Woods passed a breathalyser test with no alcohol detected but declined to provide a urine sample. Police reported signs of possible impairment and said two hydrocodone pills were found in his possession.

The crash caused property damage but no injuries, with Woods managing to escape from the overturned vehicle. He later said he had been looking at his phone and changing the radio before the collision. Following the incident, Woods sought treatment and temporarily stepped away from golf.
