In a thrilling showdown, Brianna Burgos from Puerto Rico displayed exceptional composure and skill, clinching victory in a nail-biting match against Malaysia. The tension reached its peak as the match leveled at 2-2, pushing Burgos and Malaysia's Lyne Karen into an intense decider.

Ma Long reflected on his first-time encounter with an opponent, highlighting the excellent skills displayed in the match. Playing on Table 2 provided a new experience, with a different atmosphere and feeling. Long considered the previous matches as preparations for upcoming challenges, expressing a growing sense of improvement in his gameplay.
