The prestigious World Team Cup, Africa qualification zone, is slated to be hosted by Nigeria for the second consecutive year from February 7 to February 11. A total of ten countries have expressed interest in participating, making it a highly anticipated and competitive event.

Additionally, Akindoju confirmed that the ITF J30 is scheduled to be hosted from February 14 to February 25 in Abuja, with the J60 category slated for June. Players and coaches are currently in camp, gearing up for these events, where they will face tough competition from countries such as Tanzania, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, Egypt, Rwanda, Morocco, Cameroon, and Mauritius.
