The MGM Slam returns to Las Vegas in March 2026, bringing together eight of the world’s elite men’s tennis players to compete for a $1 million prize pool. American Taylor Fritz, currently ranked No. 6 and the highest-ranked American, will headline the exhibition, joined by fellow U.S. star Tommy Paul, who is ranked 20th.
Other competitors include Norway’s Casper Ruud, Australia’s Nick Kyrgios, Brazil’s Joao Fonseca, France’s Gael Monfils, Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti, and Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik. The event will use a 10-point tiebreak knockout format, adding an exciting twist to traditional match play.
Now in its third year, the MGM Slam has previously showcased high-profile matchups, including last year’s Aryna Sabalenka vs. Naomi Osaka and one of Rafael Nadal’s final appearances before retirement. Despite ongoing criticism of the sport’s crowded tour calendar—highlighted by a lawsuit filed by the Professional Tennis Players’ Association against the ATP and WTA—exhibition events continue to draw top talent.
Scheduled just eight days before the Australian Open, the MGM Slam has historically featured tennis legends such as Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Nadal, and Maria Sharapova, offering fans a chance to see the game’s biggest stars in a more relaxed and entertaining setting. Upcoming exhibitions also include a January clash between World No. 1 Jannik Sinner and second-ranked Carlos Alcaraz in South Korea.
