Medvedev clinches ATP finals semifinal berth with gritty win over Zverev

In a commanding display, third seed Daniil Medvedev secured his spot in the ATP Finals semi-finals with a hard-fought straight-sets victory over Alexander Zverev in Turin. The Russian triumphed 7-6(7), 6-4, marking his second consecutive straight-sets win at the Nitto ATP Finals.
 
Medvedev's clinical performance extended his overall record against Zverev to 11-7 and 5-1 for the season. Having defeated Andrey Rublev in his opening match, Medvedev now gears up to face world No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals.
