ATP Dallas Open Day 2: Korda, Tiafoe, Davidovich Fokina, and Nakashima Move Forward

Day 2 of the 2026 Nexo Dallas Open in Frisco saw top performances from several players as they advanced to the second round of the ATP 500 event. American Sebastian Korda opened his campaign with a solid 6‑3, 6‑4 victory over fellow countryman Michael Zheng, avenging a recent Australian Open defeat and marking his 150th tour-level win.

Spain’s third seed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina also progressed, defeating U.S. qualifier Zachary Svajda 6‑4, 7‑6(1). Meanwhile, eighth seed Frances Tiafoe staged a comeback from a set down to beat Terence Atmane 4‑6, 6‑2, 6‑2, and American Brandon Nakashima overcame Italy’s Mattia Bellucci 6‑3, 6‑4 to secure his place in the next round.

The tournament continues with additional first-round and second-round matches on Tuesday, as players compete for valuable ranking points and prize money at this early-season hard-court event, highlighting the growing excitement of the ATP Tour in Dallas.
