Day 2 of the ITTF Men’s and Women’s World Cup concluded with intense battles as athletes vied for crucial points to secure their positions for the final day of Stage 1. As the group stages near their end, competitors left no stone unturned in their quest for advancement.


Despite a promising start on day 1, Ahmed Salah faced a setback against Shusuke Togami, who secured a 3-1 victory, positioning himself one point ahead of Group 11’s top seed, Dang Qiu. Meanwhile, Doo Hoi Kem showcased her dominance with a flawless 4-0 victory over Xiaona Shan, solidifying her position with 5 games won and 68 points secured in Group 3.
