Arthur Fery's Wimbledon Dream Continues as Semi-Final Line-up Takes Shape

Arthur Fery continued his remarkable Wimbledon campaign on Wednesday by becoming the first British men's wildcard in the Open Era to reach the semi-finals. The 23-year-old delivered an outstanding performance on Centre Court, defeating Italy's Flavio Cobolli 6-4, 7-6(4), 6-0 to delight the home crowd and extend his fairytale run at the Championships.

Fery will now face second seed Alexander Zverev, who booked his place in the last four with a commanding 6-4, 6-4, 6-2 victory over Taylor Fritz. The German produced one of his strongest displays on grass to reach his first Wimbledon semi-final, ending a difficult run of results against the American.

In the women's draw, Marta Kostyuk advanced to her maiden Wimbledon semi-final after a convincing 6-3, 6-2 win over former finalist Jasmine Paolini. The Ukrainian controlled the contest from the baseline and maintained her dominance throughout the match to secure a place in the final four.

Joining her in the semi-finals is Czech ninth seed Linda Noskova, who defeated Belgium's Elise Mertens in straight sets. Noskova's victory sets up an intriguing semi-final clash with Kostyuk, guaranteeing that one of the two rising stars will compete in the Wimbledon final for the first time.

With the quarter-finals now complete, attention turns to the semi-finals, where Fery will look to continue his stunning run against Zverev, while Kostyuk and Noskova battle for a place in the women's championship match.
