Top Stars Confirmed for Landmark 10th AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open

Defending champion Jayden Schaper will return to Mauritius later this year to headline the 10th edition of the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, joined by fellow South Africans Casey Jarvis and Dean Burmester, as well as former champion Antoine Rozner.

The prestigious tournament, carrying a $1.5 million prize fund, will take place from 10–13 December at Mont Choisy Le Golf and is expected to feature one of the strongest fields on the Sunshine Tour and DP World Tour calendars.

Schaper arrives looking to retain the title he secured in dramatic fashion last year after a playoff victory over American Ryan Gerard. His impressive season has established him as one of the DP World Tour's standout performers, while Jarvis has also emerged as one of the circuit's brightest young talents.

Through the Strategic Alliance linking the Sunshine Tour, DP World Tour and PGA TOUR, both players are in contention to earn PGA TOUR cards for next season, underlining their rapid rise in international golf.

Jarvis will return to Mauritius with growing confidence following a breakthrough campaign that included appearances at both The Masters and The Open. The 22-year-old enjoyed his best Major finish with a share of sixth place at The Open, adding to multiple DP World Tour victories this season. Meanwhile, Rozner is set for a return to the venue where he captured the 2022 Mauritius Open by a tournament-record five-shot margin, while Burmester hopes to improve on his previous best finish at the event.

Tournament organizers believe the anniversary edition represents more than just elite competition. AfrAsia Bank CEO Vishal Joyram highlighted the tournament's contribution to Mauritius through tourism, international exposure and youth inspiration.

The event has become a significant driver of the local economy, with the 2025 edition generating a record net economic impact of $5.9 million while attracting an increasing number of overseas visitors, reinforcing its reputation as one of Africa's premier golf tournaments.
