Tokyo Set to Welcome Global Paralympic Sports Medicine Experts in 2027

Tokyo, Japan, has been selected to host the 2027 Paralympic Sports Medicine & Science Conference, with the prestigious event scheduled for September 5–8, 2027, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) confirmed Tokyo as the host city for the four-day conference, which is expected to attract sports medicine specialists, researchers, medical professionals, and sports scientists from across the global Paralympic movement.

The conference will provide a platform for experts to share knowledge, examine emerging developments in Paralympic sports medicine and science, and discuss innovative approaches to improving athlete health, performance, and welfare.

The event is also expected to further enhance Tokyo’s reputation as a leading destination for major international sporting and Paralympic-related activities.

The 2027 Paralympic Sports Medicine & Science Conference will run from September 5 to 8, 2027.
