Steven Fisk secured his second US PGA Tour title after defeating Canada's Taylor Pendrith in a dramatic three-hole playoff to win the ISCO Championship in Louisville, Kentucky. Fisk held his nerve under pressure, sinking a short par putt on the third extra hole after Pendrith's tee shot found a fairway bunker, leading to a costly bogey.
The American displayed remarkable composure throughout the playoff, producing impressive bunker saves to make par on the opening two extra holes before closing out the victory with a steady two-putt par. Pendrith had earlier forced the playoff with an outstanding final-round five-under-par 65, the joint-lowest score of the day, finishing regulation tied at 16-under-par 264.
Fisk carded a three-under-par 67 during the final round, highlighted by four birdies, to catch Pendrith at the top of the leaderboard. Reflecting on the victory, Fisk said winning tournaments was the ultimate goal of his career, adding that lifting trophies meant far more than simply recording respectable finishes.
The triumph marked Fisk's second PGA Tour success following his maiden victory in Jackson, Mississippi, last year. He described the latest title as a form of validation, explaining that although he had shown flashes of strong form throughout the season, he had struggled to maintain consistency until this week's performance.
Ben Silverman of Canada and American Aaron Wise finished tied for third at 15-under-par 265. Silverman climbed the leaderboard with a four-under 66, while Wise closed with a 69.
Former US Open champion Lucas Glover, who began the final round with a one-shot advantage, was unable to maintain his lead after posting a one-over-par 71. He eventually finished in a tie for fifth place on 14-under-par.
