Rory McIlroy showcased resilience during the opening round of the PGA Championship in Louisville, Kentucky, finishing four shots behind the clubhouse leader with an impressive five-under par 66. Despite facing challenges, McIlroy, fresh off consecutive wins, navigated Valhalla Golf Club adeptly, tallying six birdies and a lone bogey.
