Roman Reigns has reportedly been removed from the advertising materials for four upcoming episodes of WWE Raw in June 2026. This sudden change to his schedule comes just weeks after he captured the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk at WrestleMania 42. Following his victory in Las Vegas, Reigns had explicitly promised the WWE Universe that his days as a part-timer were over. He stated that he would be visible throughout the entire summer to defend his new title.
According to reports from Fightful and other industrial sources, the "Tribal Chief" was scrubbed from promotional posters for shows in major cities. The dates affected include June 1 in Turin, Italy; June 8 in Paris, France; June 15 in Baltimore; and June 22 in London. While Reigns remains advertised for all Raw episodes in May, his absence from the June slate has raised questions about the longevity of his full-time commitment.
The champion is currently preparing for his first major title defense against Jacob Fatu at the Backlash Premium Live Event on May 9 in Tampa, Florida. Fatu has gained significant momentum in recent weeks after attacking Reigns with the Tongan Death Grip on Raw. Tensions escalated further during the latest episode of SmackDown, where Fatu decimated Solo Sikoa and Talla Tonga before confronting The Usos to send a final warning to the champion.
Despite the removals from the June Raw calendar, Reigns is still expected to appear at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23 and Clash in Italy on May 31. There is also speculation regarding his participation in the Night of Champions event scheduled for June 27 in Saudi Arabia. WWE has not yet provided an official reason for the changes to the promotional materials or confirmed if Reigns will miss the televised broadcasts entirely.
The shift in advertising is particularly notable given the current state of the WWE roster following a wave of recent releases. Fans have voiced their scrutiny online, pointing to the 1,316-day reign of Reigns as Undisputed Champion where his limited appearances became a major talking point. As the road to Backlash continues, the focus remains on whether the "Original Tribal Chief" can maintain his promise of a more active summer schedule.
