Para Badminton gets off to a Flying start at 2026 Para Games in Abuja

The 3rd Edition of the Para Games kicked off yesterday with Para Badminton action in full swing. Kwara's Ayuba Yahaya (SL4 category) started strong, defeating his opponent from Plateau State in straight sets, securing his spot in the next stage.

Expectations are high for Kwara, being the home of badminton, as they are gunning for a total victory. Eniola Bolaji Mariam (SL3 category) is set to join her teammates.

On her arrival from Spain, she will be joining her teammates, Olanrewaju Precious and Ayuba Yahaya, who is already making waves. The highly confident Ayuba, who is in high spirits, confirmed to journalists his readiness to take home medals.
