The President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engineer Musa, has paid a working visit to the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) headquarters.
Nimrod, who also serves as the President of the CAVB Beach Volleyball Commission, met with CAVB President Mrs. Bouchra Hajij and the CAVB technical department.
Nimrod revealed that the discussions focused on finalizing preparations for the 2025 African Women's Club Championship, scheduled to take place from April 1 to 14, 2025, and hosted by the Nigeria Customs Services Club.
He said, “Part of the working visit was to inform the CAVB President, Mrs. Bouchra Hajij, about the level of preparations for the 2025 African Women's Club Championship to be hosted by Nigeria Customs Service.
“The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi MFR, has been overseeing the situation, and the club is currently in camp ahead of the championship.
"With the support of the CGC, the National Sports Commission, and the Federal Government of Nigeria, the country will be a good host to the clubs participating in the championship."
Nimrod said the CAVB technical department reviewed the state of preparedness for the competition and explored potential areas of collaboration to ensure the success of the event.
