In the last nine months, Edo State has played host to major Scrabble events in Nigeria, including:

The Vice President of the Nigeria Scrabble Federation (NSF), Engineer Bright Idahosa, has been driving the Scrabble traffic to the ancient and iconic city of Benin.
It’s important to note that the All Nigeria Amazon Scrabble Championship was the first of its kind in Nigeria and Africa; it attracted the finest Scrabble ladies ever seen in the history of the sport.
We gathered that Bright Idahosa, who is heading the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the 3rd NSF Festival, and his team have promised to work hand in hand with the Main Organizing Committee (MOC), under the leadership of Engineer Toke Aka, to stage a show-stopping Scrabble Festival this April.
