As the countdown begins for the 2025 Rugby Africa Men’s Sevens Series, the Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) has officially unveiled the national team's new playing kit ahead of the tournament scheduled to take place from June 21 to 22 at the Labourdonnais Sports Club in Mauritius.
The new kit, which blends performance functionality with a bold, modern design, is expected to give the national team—popularly known as the Stallions—a refreshed look as they compete against top teams across the continent.
Speaking during the unveiling, officials from the NRFF expressed optimism that the new attire would boost team morale and further represent Nigeria’s growing presence on the African rugby scene. Designed for agility, comfort, and durability, the jersey reflects national colours and sporting identity with sleek detail and breathable material.
The unveiling comes as Nigeria’s Sevens team intensifies preparations for the highly anticipated event. With top sides like Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, and Zimbabwe in the fray, Nigeria aims to make a strong impact in Mauritius and continue building momentum for future international competitions.
The 2025 Sevens Series is not only a key fixture for national pride but also serves as part of the qualification pathway for major global events including the 2026 Rugby Sevens World Cup.
