Osun Military Paramilitary Games Day 3: Nigeria Police Sweep Volleyball Gold Medals

The Nigeria Police Force dominated Day 3 of the Osun Military Paramilitary Games 2025, winning gold in both the male and female categories.

The Osun Military Paramilitary Games 2025 entered its third day in grand fashion, featuring thrilling contests across multiple events and showcasing impressive sportsmanship from participating security agencies.

The Nigeria Police Force emerged as the standout performers of the day, clinching double gold medals in both the male and female volleyball categories.

The volleyball matches, held at the Osogbo City Stadium, attracted large crowds as teams battled fiercely for top honors. This year’s edition, widely regarded as one of the most entertaining in recent years, continues to promote unity, discipline, and physical fitness among officers of the various security services in Osun State and beyond.

In the women’s final, the Nigeria Police Force displayed remarkable dominance and teamwork, overpowering the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to claim the gold medal. The NSCDC team put up a strong fight but had to settle for silver, while the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) secured bronze after an impressive performance in the third-place match.

The men’s category delivered another round of high-intensity action as the Nigeria Police Force replicated their female counterparts’ success, winning the gold medal after a closely contested final. The NSCDC once again settled for silver, while the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) claimed bronze to complete the podium.
