World number one Nelly Korda has secured the LPGA Rolex Player of the Year award for the second time in her career after another outstanding season on the tour.
The 28-year-old American claimed four victories in 2026, including major championship triumphs at the Chevron Championship and the US Women’s Open at Riviera.
Korda established a strong advantage in the points standings early in the campaign, winning or finishing runner-up in six consecutive tournaments.
Her closest challengers, South Korea’s Haeran Ryu, Japan’s Miyu Yamashita and Thailand’s Jeeno Thitikul, were unable to close the gap, allowing Korda to clinch the honour with three tournaments still remaining.
The award also moves Korda closer to a place in the LPGA Hall of Fame. She now has 26 points towards the required 27, meaning one more qualifying achievement could secure her induction.
Winning either of the two remaining official events she plans to contest this season would earn her the final point.
