The stage is set for a gripping start to the 2026 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL), as the opening round fixtures promise intense rivalries and early statements of intent from title contenders.

With the festive Sallah atmosphere adding colour and excitement, fans are in for a thrilling spectacle as teams hit the sand for the first time this season.

Matchday One immediately delivers high-stakes action. BAM Projects BSC square off against Jigawa Golden Stars BSC, while former champions Kada BSC take on Niger BSC.

In what could be the headline clash of the day, record champions Kebbi Fishers BSC face Ibom BSC in a test of pedigree and ambition.

Defending champions Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors will begin their title defence on Saturday, where they meet Ibom BSC.

The day also features a packed lineup, including Niger BSC against Jigawa Golden Stars, as well as a heavyweight clash between Anambra BSW and Kada BSC.
