The Pa G. B. Ladipo Indoor Sports Hall at the George Agbazika Innih Stadium has received a significant facelift, positioning it among top-standard sporting facilities globally.
The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, during a tour of the newly upgraded complex, described the project as a major milestone for sports development in the state.
The revamped indoor sports hall now boasts modern facilities capable of hosting multiple sporting activities simultaneously.
According to the Commission, the hall can accommodate over five sports at once and supports more than fifteen different games, including basketball, football, table tennis, badminton, and others.
Mogaji noted that the project remains a work in progress, adding that further improvements are underway to enhance the facility.
He also assured that measures would be put in place to ensure proper maintenance, with the goal of sustaining the hall's status as one of the best sporting facilities in the world.
With its upgraded infrastructure and capacity to host a wide range of sporting activities, the Pa G. B. Ladipo Indoor Sports Hall marks a significant step forward for Kwara State and Nigerian sports development. As further improvements continue, the facility is set to become a premier destination for athletes and sporting events across the country.
