World No. 1 Korda began her remarkable season by winning the Chevron Championship before adding the U.S. Women's Open title to claim her fourth career major. Meanwhile, South Korea's Ryu secured her maiden major at the Women's PGA Championship with a record-breaking comeback from 10 shots behind before producing another historic performance at the Evian Championship, where she became the first golfer to shoot a 60 in a major.

Their remarkable achievements have created a unique season in professional golf, with two players winning multiple majors in the same year for the first time.
