Kebbi Fishers BSC Return to Kaduna with NBSL Title in Sight

Kebbi Fishers BSC will head to Kaduna for the Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Super Finals seeking to reclaim the title after securing a sixth consecutive appearance at the season-ending championship.

The Birnin Kebbi-based side have established a strong record in the competition, having featured in every Super Finals since 2021 and finished among the top three in each of their previous five appearances.

Their record includes three NBSL titles, won in 2021, 2023 and 2024, while they finished runners-up in 2022 and 2025.

Kebbi Fishers' first final defeat came against Kada BSC in 2022, but the team bounced back the following season to begin a run of consecutive championships in 2023 and 2024.

The Kaduna venue will provide another source of confidence for the club, having won the NBSL title the last time the Super Finals were held in the city, in 2024.

As they prepare for another challenge, Kebbi Fishers will look to the goalscoring ability of Sadiqee Umar and the experience of national team player Taiwo Adams to strengthen their title bid.

The team will also be determined to overturn last year's disappointment after surrendering the championship to Anambra Beach Soccer Warriors.

With six consecutive Super Finals appearances and three championships already to their name, Kebbi Fishers will be seeking to use their experience and previous success in Kaduna to mount another serious challenge for the NBSL crown.
