Jon Rahm Claims Third Straight LIV Golf Individual Championship as Niemann Wins in New York

Jon Rahm secured the LIV Golf season-long Individual Championship for a third consecutive year on Sunday, adding the 2026 crown to his titles from 2024 and 2025. The Legion XIII captain clinched the championship with one regular-season event still remaining, despite enduring a difficult week at LIV Golf New York.

While Rahm struggled in the final round, shooting a 5-over 76, his points advantage proved more than enough to keep the championship out of reach of his rivals. The Spaniard had enjoyed an outstanding campaign, including victories in Hong Kong and Mexico City as well as three runner-up finishes.

Joaquin Niemann provided another major highlight at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, completing a wire-to-wire victory to claim his ninth LIV Golf individual title. The Torque GC captain closed with a 2-under 69 to finish at 16 under par, beating Harold Varner III by three strokes.

The victory was Niemann's second of the 2026 season and further extended his record as LIV Golf's most successful individual tournament winner. His consistent performance throughout the week allowed him to maintain control at the top of the leaderboard despite Varner's challenge.

Crushers GC also completed a memorable weekend by capturing the team title. Their victory marked the team's 11th regular-season LIV Golf championship, extending its record as the league's most successful team. Paul Casey led the way in the final round with a 3-under 68, while Anirban Lahiri and Charles Howell III contributed solid scores to help the Crushers hold off Legion XIII and Torque GC.

Legion XIII and Torque GC finished tied for second, two shots behind the Crushers. Rahm's team was boosted by Caleb Surratt's 71 and Tom McKibbin's 72, while Niemann's strong finish powered Torque's challenge.
