Iron Heads GC is undergoing a major transformation in LIV Golf, adopting a new name, Korean Golf Club, alongside a refreshed roster and a new team captain. Kevin Na, who led Iron Heads since LIV’s inception but managed only one top-10 finish in 48 appearances, has been replaced by Byeong Hun An, who is departing the PGA Tour to take on the captaincy.
An shared on X that following the conclusion of the 2025 season, he wanted “a new chapter and a fresh challenge” in his career, expressing a commitment to supporting junior golfers and helping them achieve success on the world stage. LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil highlighted An’s arrival as a signal of the league’s dedication to the Korean market and the role it plays in shaping global golf.
The team expressed gratitude to Kevin Na for his contributions but did not provide a specific reason for his departure. Several other roster changes accompanied the rebranding. Jinichiro Kozuma, despite being the squad’s top performer in 2025, was let go, along with Yubin Jang, while Minkyu Kim—Kozuma’s injury replacement last season—joined the team. Korean-born New Zealander Danny Lee is the only player remaining from last season, with Younghan Song also added to the roster.
The rebrand emphasizes unity, honor, and collective strength, reflecting the Korean concept of brotherhood. The team’s new logo—a white tiger—is a revered symbol in Korean folklore, representing strength, tenacity, and protection. LIV Golf said the transformation was inspired by the energy at its first South Korean event in 2025 and aims to create an engaging space for young fans.
With the rebranding and roster overhaul, Korean Golf Club hopes to improve on Iron Heads’ last-place finish among 13 teams in the 2025 season and strengthen its presence in the growing South Korean golf market.
