The Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation (FMINO) men's volleyball team has qualified for the quarterfinals of the ongoing Federation of Public Service Games (FEPSGA) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
FMINO recorded its fifth consecutive win in the tournament to finish at the top of Group D.

Group D comprised the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Ministry of Finance, NAPTIP, ICPC, and NEMA.
The men's volleyball team is made up of nine staff members from the ministry and its agencies, namely: Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), and Voice of Nigeria (VON).
The players include Chris Odhomi (FMINO), Godwin Samuel (FMINO), Solomon Mungu (FMINO), Thomas Bello (FRCN), Sylvester Bikut (FRCN), Ishaku Musa (FRCN), Victor Okoye (NAN), Muhyideen Jimoh (NAN), and Isah Abdullahi (VON).
Team Information dismissed all its opponents in straight sets and qualified as Group winners to set up a thrilling matchday 4 quarterfinal encounter with the Ministry of Defence, who finished as runners-up in Group B.
In other quarterfinal pairings, Group A winners, the Ministry of Water Resources, will face Group C runners-up, FIRS, in a matchday 1 encounter.
Group B winners, the Ministry of Education, will take on the Ministry of Finance, who finished as runners-up in Group D, on matchday 2.
Tournament hosts, the Rivers State team, who finished as Group C winners, will clash with the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment on matchday 3 to complete the final eight pairings.
The semifinal pairings will see the winners of matchday 1 face the winners of matchday 2, while the winners of matchday 3 will take on the winners of matchday 4.
