Renowned for his dedication to national development and the progress of his homeland, one of Nigeria's most illustrious sons, Chief Sunday Dare, has initiated yet another significant endeavor with the establishment of Black Scorpion Football Club, which is set for unveiling on Tuesday, April 2nd.

Black Scorpion FC, a brainchild of the former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, will be based in Ogbomoso, Oyo state, as it is poised to make its debut in the NLO 1 division of the Nigerian Football league system.

The official unveiling ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, April 2nd, in Ogbomoso and will be graced by the esteemed presence of the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye, serving as the special guest of honor.

Additionally, the event will witness the attendance of distinguished former Nigerian internationals, including Mutiu Adepoju, Seyi Olofinjana, and Dimeji Lawal, among others.

Chief Dare has consistently exhibited profound dedication to the development of Nigeria and the welfare of his people.

Among his notable contributions are the facilitation of the refurbishment of the basketball court at LAUTECH, renovation of the pavilion at Soun Stadium, spearheading a N1.3 billion naira Ecological and Erosion Control Project, and facilitating the disbursement of interest-free loans under the Micro Enterprise Enhancement Scheme (MEES) to over 300 women across the 33 local government areas of Oyo State.

Furthermore, Dare has sponsored the training of 40 coaches abroad, donated a 30-room ensuite hostel to Ayede Polytechnic, and provided 150,000 naira in cash relief to widows, the elderly, and women of the Ogbomoso Omolaso Society.

Additionally, he has facilitated the provision of equipment to Okelerin Primary Hospital in Ogbomoso.

He went further to donate a 17-seater bus to Federal Polytechnic Ayede, built and donated the Ogbomoso sports arena and youth center, and the Ikoyi Ile Multi-Sports Stadium project of close to half a billion naira has since commenced in Ogbomoso.

The establishment of Black Scorpion FC serves as another chapter in Chief Sunday Dare's undying commitment to uplifting communities and fostering development in Nigeria.
