England’s Seamers Put Pakistan on Brink of Series Defeat at Lord’s

England’s pace attack once again proved too strong for Pakistan as the visitors were bowled out for just 110 on day two of the second Test at Lord’s.

Ollie Robinson led the charge with 4-11, while Jofra Archer claimed 3-26 as England secured a 180-run first-innings advantage.

England briefly stumbled to 13-2 in their second innings but recovered through Emilio Gay and Joe Root before Root fell for 24.

Gay remained unbeaten on 30, with Harry Brook also at the crease as bad light ended play with England on 81-3, extending their overall lead to 261 runs.

Pakistan’s batting again struggled badly, with Azan Awais providing the only meaningful resistance with 46.

With England already leading the three-match series after a dominant victory in the first Test, the hosts are now firmly positioned to secure another win and clinch the series at Lord’s.
