He made this appeal during a strategic engagement with a delegation from the NAF, which paid him a courtesy visit at his office in Abuja.
Adeyinka expressed delight over what he described as a “fruitful and productive meeting” with senior Air Force officials, emphasizing its potential impact on youth sports across Nigeria.
“Earlier today, Air Vice Marshal T.O. Yusuf and Kadiri Waheed Olateju paid a courtesy visit to my office. It was very productive,” he said.
He noted that the visit provided both parties with an opportunity to explore areas of mutual interest in grassroots sports development. Adeyinka commended the NAF’s willingness to partner on youth-focused initiatives.
He emphasized the importance of collaboration between government agencies, the military, and the private sector to drive sustainable growth in grassroots sports.
“Air Vice Marshal Yusuf and Mr. Olateju praised our efforts and assured us of their support going forward,” Adeyinka added.
The meeting concluded with a joint commitment to pursue new partnerships and promote nationwide sports development initiatives aimed at discovering and nurturing young talent.
