Team Kwara recorded another milestone at the ongoing National Para Games Abuja 2026, as Eniola Mariam Bolaji secured a gold medal in the SL3 women’s singles para badminton event.
Bolaji delivered an outstanding performance, defeating her second opponent from Abia State to emerge champion in her category, further boosting Kwara’s medal tally at the Games.
In the men’s SL4 singles event, Ayuba Yahaya claimed a bronze medal after a spirited campaign.
Yahaya lost his second and third matches to opponents from Abia and Enugu States, but did enough to finish on the podium.
Meanwhile, Olanrewaju Precious was unable to progress further in her category after losing her second game to a competitor from Enugu State.
The results add to Kwara’s growing success at the Para Games, with athletes continuing to make strong impressions across different sports.
