Abia Partners with NVBF to Host 2025 National Volleyball Division 1 & 2 League

Umuahia will host the 2025 National Volleyball Division 1 & 2 League Finals, with top teams competing for promotion and national ranking points.

The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), in collaboration with the Abia State Government, has announced that Umuahia will host the 2025 National Division 1 and Division 2 Volleyball League Finals for both men’s and women’s categories.

According to the NVBF, the competitions will run until November 22, 2025, at the Umuahia Township Stadium, which has been designated as the main venue for the month-long event.

The national league finals will feature the country’s top-performing teams competing for promotion, honors, and national ranking points, marking another significant step in the Federation’s efforts to expand the sport’s visibility and competitiveness at both grassroots and elite levels.

The hosting partnership between the NVBF and the Abia State Government underscores the state’s growing commitment to sports development and its readiness to provide a platform for emerging volleyball talents to showcase their skills.

Further details on fixtures, participating teams, and official ceremonies are expected to be released in the coming days by the Nigeria Volleyball Federation.
