2025 President Beach Volleyball to serve off in Kaduna Feb. 16

The 2025 President Beach Volleyball for Men and Women/Under 17 Boys and Girls will be held from February 16 to 23, the organizers have announced.


The notice was contained in a letter drafted by the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) and addressed to all Directors of Sports, Clubs Chairmen, General Managers, and Military and Para-Military representatives.


According to the letter, signed by the Secretary-General of NVBF, Mrs. Aliyu-Abass Wasilat, dated January 29, 2025, the President Beach Volleyball will be held at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello Stadium (ABS) in Kaduna, Kaduna State, from February 16 to 22.


The letter also stated that February 16 will be the arrival date for participating teams, while the Technical Meeting and Competition will take place from February 17 to 22.


Participating teams are expected to depart on February 23.


The letter added, "In view of the above, states, organizations, and clubs are encouraged to prepare for this upcoming event, and their cooperation is highly solicited to ensure the success of this competition."


"It is mandatory for each team to bring one accompanying referee per team (for both male and female) and to be responsible for their logistics. Participating teams will be responsible for their accommodation."


"While thanking you for your usual cooperation, please accept the assurances and highest sporting regards of the NVBF President," the letter concluded.


The annual event is sponsored by NVBF President, Engineer Musa Nimrod.
