2025 NSF: Team Imo set to face Oyo in Handball

Team Imo will confront Team Oyo in the women's handball event of the ongoing Ogun 2024 National Sports Festival, tagged Gateway Games, at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Handball Court, Alake Sports Centre, Abeokuta.


The fixture had been rescheduled due to poor visibility and other unforeseen circumstances, but the organisers have now placed the tie as the first game of the day.


Team Imo, otherwise known as the Imo Grasshoppers, have expressed their readiness to make the state proud in Ogun and disclosed that they are well-prepared for Team Oyo, a familiar opponent.


In other fixtures, hosts Team Ogun will face Team Delta in the men's category at a projected time of 10:30 a.m., while Team Adamawa and Team Edo will take to the pitch at 12:00 noon, also in the men's category.


Team Lagos will come up against Team Osun at 1:30 p.m., and Team Nigeria will test Team FCT at 3:00 p.m. Both matches are also part of the men's category.
