Vinicius Junior won't serve a one-game suspension for his red card

Following a decision by the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) on Tuesday, Vinicius Junior won't be punished for collecting a red card in Sunday's LaLiga encounter against Valencia, but the team will have to shut down the section where the Real Madrid striker was subjected to racial taunts for five games.
After a fight with Valencia players in which Vinicius seemed to be grabbed around the neck, the Brazilian winger was dismissed in stoppage time by referee Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea for punching an opponent.
At the Mestalla Stadium, Vinicius had previously endured racial taunts from spectators. As a result, the game was stopped for ten minutes while the player pointed out the racists in the crowd.
"The RFEF Competition Committee considers that the referee's assessment was determined by the omission of the entirety of the play that took place, which affected the refereeing decision."
"The fact that he [the referee] was deprived of a decisive part of the facts led him to adopt an arbitrary decision. And this is because it was impossible for him to properly assess what happened."
Vinicius is now eligible to participate in Real Madrid's next La Liga encounter against Rayo Vallecano at home on Wednesday, but sources have said that he is questionable for the game because he missed training on Tuesday because of left knee injury.
Before his ban was lifted, Madrid's team list for the match omitted him.
The club was also fined €45,000 ($49,536) by the RFEF for the racist insults Vinicius endured, and Valencia's south stand would be partially shuttered for five games.
