Tottenham’s Harry Kane wanted by Manchester United, deal to be completed soon

According to reports, Manchester United is getting ready to ratchet up its chase of Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur.
 
The 29-year-old England international is reportedly the club's top choice this summer, and they want to act fast to sign him once the transfer market opens. However, they are reportedly ill-equipped to match the €150 million price set by Napoli for Victor Osimhen.
 
The Old Trafford administration believes that Kane has the potential to turn them into championship challengers in the Premier League, and manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly "obsessed" with finding a way to sign him.
 
They want to start talking with Daniel Levy, the chairman of the Spurs, right away in order to avoid the discussions dragging on over the summer.
 
Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta has been mentioned as a backup plan if they are unable to reach an agreement to sign him, although it is thought that they would sign the Denmark international as a player for the future.
