Nigerian midfielder Samson Tijani is close to finalizing a permanent transfer to Dukla Prague, signaling the end of his four-year stint with Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg.
Tijani, 22, joined Salzburg in 2020 with high expectations but found regular first-team opportunities limited. During his time with the club, he made only a handful of appearances, spending the majority of his contract period on loan to clubs such as TSV Hartberg, Wolfsberger AC, and Fredrikstad FK in Norway.
The move to Dukla Prague is expected to provide the Nigerian international with a fresh platform to establish himself as a regular starter. Dukla, competing in the Czech First League, will offer Tijani a chance to reignite his career and gain consistent top-level experience.
The transfer is reportedly in its final stages, with official confirmation anticipated in the coming days.
