In Poland, Lucasz Rozanski stopped Alen Babic in the first round to win the vacant WBC bridgerweight championship.
When Babic and Rozanski faced up at the G2A Arena in the latter's hometown of Rzeszow, they promised a collision of unrestrained savagery.
They succeeded in doing so, however the conflict was resolved more rapidly than anticipated.
At the opening bell, both fighters launched themselves from their corners in an effort to unleash their biggest blows, but Rozanski was the first to connect.
They faced off in the center of the ring, but Rozanski struck "The Savage" with a right cross.
Babic launched savage strikes at him, but he continued ahead and crashed into the Croatian.
Rozanski, though, immediately asserted his physicality by delivering and landing painful blows. His left hook doubled, grabbing Babic's chin and shaking him.
