NPFL Match Day 17 results in 2022/2023

Match Day 17 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) on Sunday produced scintillating results as title-chasing teams consolidated their grips on their respective points earned.

Enyimba International FC earned the greatest win with a 5-0 demolition of Gombe United in Aba. Remo Stars sprang a surprise win in Jos Stadium with an away win over fellow NPFL contender Plateau United, 2-1.

Group A leaders Bendel Insurance drew 1-1 with the Shooting Stars at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium. Benin to extend his unbeaten streak to 17 matches Sunshine Stars also overpowered Niger Tornadoes 2-0 away.

Akwa United compounded El-Kanemi Warriors' woes at the Nest of Champions to earn a 2-0 win. Wikki Tourists demolished Abia Warriors 4-0 in Bauchi. River United earns a 2-1 bragging right over Bayelsa United at Adokiye Anasieamaka Stadium.

Kwara United confirmed Nasarawa United's demotion from the Premier League with a 1-0 win in Akure. Surprise team of the year: Doma United played a goalless draw with Rangers International at Pantami Stadium. Dakkada FC played 1-1 against Lobi Stars.
The outstanding Match Day 15 fixture is expected to be played on May 10.
