Niger Tornadoes Technical Adviser, Bala quits club

The Technical Adviser of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) side, Niger Tornadoes has resigned from his position.

Bala was reported to have tendered his resignation letter to the management of the Minna-based club on Thursday.

The experienced coach guided Mina-based Tornadoes to a sixth placed finish in the Group B of the 2023 Nigeria Premier League with 23 points in 18 matches.

It was however rumored that Bala is eyeing a shot in the Lobi Stars of Makurdi squad after its chairman, Dominic Lorfa opened the discussion with the hardworking manager last week and it seems that a conclusion has been reached.

As coach Bala has officially resigned, he is set to resume as the coach of Lobi Stars on Friday 30th of June ahead of the new season.

Despite qualifying for the Super 6, the performance of Lobi Stars was questionable as finished at the bottom of the Super 6 table.
