Kylian Mbappe transfer looms, Paris deadline, €40 million loyalty bonus, contract expires

The Kylian Mbappe transfer saga continues to dominate European football headlines. Paris Saint-Germain's deadline with the French striker has passed, and he is set to receive his €40 million "loyalty bonus" today, with another €40 million due at the end of August. Additionally, the deadline for exercising Mbappe's contract option for the 2024/25 season has also passed, making his current contract expire next summer.
 
However, PSG appears to be growing frustrated with Mbappe's refusal to entertain offers from other clubs, including Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal, during the current transfer window.
