Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has urged fans to create a vibrant atmosphere at Anfield for their upcoming Premier League clash against Arsenal. Klopp expressed dissatisfaction with the atmosphere during the recent Carabao Cup quarter-final win over West Ham and encouraged fans to give Arsenal the "proper Anfield experience."

 

He emphasized the importance of a lively home game and highlighted the significance of Anfield's atmosphere in supporting the team. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta acknowledged the unique challenge of playing at Anfield, describing it as an "unbelievable place to go."

 

After Liverpool's 5-1 victory over West Ham, Klopp addressed the issue, expressing a desire for an enhanced atmosphere and urging fans not in the right mood to give their tickets to others. Despite the slight criticism, Klopp reiterated his love for Anfield and the supporters, emphasizing the need for a proper home game experience.

 

He called on fans to make the upcoming match against Arsenal a memorable occasion. Mikel Arteta acknowledged the historical significance of Anfield and compared its atmosphere to a "washing machine," emphasizing the challenge of playing there. He reflected on the team's experience at Anfield last season, where they led 2-0 but ended up drawing 2-2, and highlighted the unique difficulties posed by iconic stadiums like Anfield and Old Trafford.
