Graham Potter has been fired as the head coach of Chelsea following the Blues' 2-0 home loss to Aston Villa, which caused them to drop into the Premier League's bottom half.

Potter, who switched from Brighton to Chelsea in September, has frequently expressed his belief that the club's owners at Stamford Bridge were fully behind him despite the team's difficulties.
